About Us
Garden of Eating was started with the mission of bridging the gap between people and the land their food comes from, while using regenerative agricultural practices based on permaculture design principles.
Our vision is less lawns, more food forests within urban areas.

Nicole @gardenofeatingsoflo
Nicole’s garden journey began in college and she has since worked at the Battery Urban Farm, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and completed a compost internship. She moved to South Florida with the intention of learning about growing food in a subtropical climate. She’s spent the last few years gaining hands on experience and diving deep into her studies, including a Permaculture Design Certification at Finca Tierra. Her experiences sparked a passion to bring the abundance right into people’s backyards.

Brielle @everythingearthtribe
Brielle started her permaculture journey in Miami working for elementary school food forests and Overtown Food Works transforming an abandoned lot into a community garden as her college internship. She got her PDC at an eco-village in Costa Rica in 2016. Since then, she has been hosting regenerative community gatherings and educational workshops for children and adults, as well as installing mini food forests and raised gardens for her community.
